How Does An Iphone 4 Work?

Sorry if you find these questions dumb, but I’d like to know as much about an iphone before I actually go out and buy them
1) Is a 16GB for the actual phone a good amount?
2) How much GB of data should I get? I’d like to get just one.
3) What does the data use? Like internet, games, ect..
4) Does playing games you buy on itunes cost money?
5) Does it cost money to download and listen to music onto your iphone? Not actually streaming it off of youtube or the internet
6) Would you recommend getting the iphone 4?
